Research Scientist

Biography

I’m a research scientist at a Japanese media company, engaged in data analysis and service developments. While studying computer science at university, I was also involved in a university press. My research interest lies in building, evaluating, and communicating AI systems for information ecosystems: how people create, access, evaluate, and act on information. I have published four books, written newsletters, and organized community events, as summarized on the DevRel page. I enjoy participating in machine learning competitions and won the first place on a Kaggle competition, and hosted a Kaggle Days Tokyo competition. The International News Media Association gave me “ 30 Under 30 Awards and Grand Prize” in 2020.
